On December 18, 2017, the 22,000,000 CV shaft’s off-line ceremony was held at SDS KQ plant. Nearly a hundred people, including the top executive team, department leaders, and employee representatives, attended the ceremony.

On the ceremony, Ye Lianxiang, the deputy general manager of SDS, reviewed the production history of 22 million CV shafts.

In 2017, the auto market was tranquil from January to August. But with the market getting warmer in September, a rare chance for new breakthrough was brought to the enterprise. SDS launched a meritorious service competition "Working Hard for 100 days to Climb New Heights". All plants/departments took an active part in it and cooperated effectively to make new records of daily output of CV shafts frequently and to challenge the targets of component outputs. In November, the output of CV assemblies amounted to 2,410,000 pieces, which refreshed the monthly production record again.

Xue Jinda, the managing director of SDS, expressed his gratitude to all employees for their efforts to cope with the challenges and the great achievements made in the meritorious service competition. It is really significant for SDS to make a breakthrough in output with 22 million CV shafts even when the auto market was changing from high growth to micro growth. He expressed his hope that SDS would achieve higher growth and higher profits with higher quality of operation.

Wang Hong, the secretary of SDS party Committee and the chairman of the trade union, announced the off-line of the 22,000,000th CV shaft. This historic moment was witnessed by all the participants.
